A beautiful traditionally made cheese called Lincolnshire Poacher. Beautifully matured hand made in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Made from the un-pasteurised milk of the farm's Holstein cows. Stores well covered in the fridge or can be frozen successfuly.
Awards: This farmhouse cheese won 'Supreme Champion' in the British Cheese awards.
The cheese has won numerous awards over the years including Supreme Champion at the 1996/7 British Cheese Awards and Best British Cheese at the World Cheese awards in 2001/2. On top of this, there have been several Gold Medals at the British Cheese Awards, including 2003/4 for both Lincolnshire Poacher and Smoked Lincolnshire Poacher.
